HERE WE GO AGAIN


Rainy skies and a bit of a rainbow just to the east of us.


A slightly closer look.

Another hurricane over Baja apparently is driving some rain ahead of it up into Arizona.  The next couple of days may be wet and wetter.

Maybe we loan some Hopi rain dancers to California. This month's National Geographic is about the drought in California. I was amazed at the number of dams in the foothills of the Sierras.

Dontcha just love weather? Currently, after past snow and hard freezes, we're basking in mid-70's.

I used to love what we called Indian Summer. Is that racist nowadays?

Nah. I still call a mountain in central Oregon where I grew up Squaw Tit....it's now Mt. Washington. Google a view of it from the east looking west, you'll see why it was called that, even in maps. Not the term 'Squaw", but the other....
