IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD


Is this a camelia bush? SWMBO thinks so.

The bluish-purple blooms are dying pink ones.


Whatever they are, they're gorgeous.

    I bought a Rose of Sharon bush years ago and it turned out to look just like this one. Not the flower I remember by that name but the garden guy said it was a fancy double. But then, that could have been fancy double talk.

      Meggie tells me the leaves aren't right for a camelia so your Rose of Sharon may be correct.
