Bruce, again you need an editor. The Democrats were in NYC in 1980. If this was SFO must have been 84 ("Fritz")

ReplyDeleteGot it and corrected it. Thanks Roger.
ReplyDeleteOne of my best memories from the '84 convention was driving over the golden gate bridge on the night of our "load out", having filed our last report and able to relax. Struck by the beauty of the city and listening to a local FM playing a Grateful Dead medley. We had stayed in Oakland and were heading back to have a drink or two and enjoy dinner. We'd used the BART most days or were so busy never really had time to take in and admire the view until then.
ReplyDeleteOur crew had chartered a sailboat and crew and had an intoxicating and intoxicated cruise on San Francisco Bay for several hours, starting at midnight! A great way to end a tiring week.
DeleteLooks like a fun bunch to work with.
ReplyDeleteThree of those guys have 1970s mustaches in 1984!
ReplyDeleteWell, Val, y'know some guys are slow learners.
DeleteA picture right in time after these debates of the other night...
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Linda Alvarez? She was one of my heros when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteShe went to Los Angeles for a number of years before retiring.
