In spite of the picture of dusty hot dry Arizona you may have from all those old western movies, we do actually get rain here. Today is one of those days.
I can remember when I lived in Phoenix (this was when the humidity averaged 7% - before the huge influx and the rise of moisture in the air)...we would go without rain for so long. When it came, I would sometimes take off my shirt and go outside with with face to the sky and let it pour all over me. What a wonderful feeling!
Not the Arizona weather of my imagination.
ReplyDeleteGreen leaves in November?? What's up with that?
ReplyDeleteWhere are the cactus?
ReplyDeleteI have a pool in front of my house, too. It was a river last night. Not good dog walking weather. Good thing both Reggie and I wear Goretex.
ReplyDeleteWe too had glorious rain here on the California central coast.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall colours!
ReplyDeleteWe've got snow on the ground here.
Pouring here, too. Maybe it's a rainy night in Georgia, and it's raining all over the world.
ReplyDeleteWe actually enjoyed the rainy day today. The sun will be back out tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI think we're getting your rain on Tuesday night. No color in our trees this year. Too dry and too warm. That yellow one's a beauty.
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying the rain. I even heard a little thunder yesterday.
