It's rained here for the past week but the sun just broke out and the fall colors look wonderful.

Sun is always good!
Rained all day here, with a high of 46 the day before. Still, my little dog jumps in the fish pond for a swim like he's roasting. He IS wearing a fur coat, I guess.
That what is nice at your place: the bad weather is never for long.
Even though the temps are still low, the sunshine makes all the difference.
It's way too cold here in phoenix. I even put on the winter silks under my sweater today.
