IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE . . . .

A cherry picker was evident in a parking lot near the municipal buildings in our town yesterday.

There was some type of cord hanging from the bucket down to a couple of other workers on the ground.

Aha!  Christmas lights being strung in the tree.

I wouldn't have wanted to be the poor fellow in the bucket though as a low front had brought cooler temperatures and a tempestuous day of wind that had his long hair whipping around his head.

The plaza around the buildings will be ablaze with Christmas light once the official ceremony takes place.

Meanwhile back at the homestead, SWMBO set up her Christmas display of miniatures recently.

This year it's on the bar separating the kitchen and living rooms.

I don't think the cats have discovered it yet.

Yes, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I know of a near two-year old who love that Christmas display. Will make sure she sees your photos.

I'm trying to put off the decorations!

Give the cats a little time to go to work on the decorations!

I think the lights are strung up around the downtown area here, but they don't get lit up until December 8th, if I recall.

I shall look forward to your photos of them, William.

SWMBO certainly has the holiday spirit.

Now that we have a baseline photo, I would like to see the decorations post-cat discovery.

Christmas trees bring out the wild in cats. How great must that be for an indoor cat to have a real tree appear inside the house? Our cats used to love just sitting on the tree skirt hiding under the low branches in ambush mode.

Do you think Xmas lights go up earlier each year?

It seems that way, Steve.

The holiday atmosphere is in abundance at your house!

I'd say he needs to tie that hair back, in a pony tail or maybe a "man-bun."

Mike has started pulling some Christmas things out - a few every day. We’ll probably put our tree up this weekend.
