"Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash,
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,"

The snow in your pictures is very... photogenic!
ReplyDeleteWow. It has been sunny here for over a week, but nothing above freezing. Colder than a well diggers a--.

Where are the birdies?
ReplyDeleteWe had snow too this morning but the wind started to blow and everything was blown away...
We used to call this sugar snow. Really pretty on the trees. I was thinking this would have been more appreciated on December 24th!
ReplyDeleteWell we in NW France still haven't had any snow. [What a shame! :)]. That could all change over night. Good thing is that we're well stocked up with dog food.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT's snow!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. It reminds me of the wet, heavy kind of snow that breaks off the limbs of our cedar trees.
ReplyDeleteIt is +13˚C here in Toronto and sunny!
ReplyDeleteIt's a few hours later now and it's 42 degrees F., the sun is shining and the snow is gone except in some shady areas. That's winter in Arizona.
ReplyDeleteIt looked very winterish--were I there I'd appreciate it's disappearance.
ReplyDeleteA world of beautiful white!
ReplyDeleteThat is a major snow storm for you guys. Pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow! You really ARE getting hit with some snow. That looks about like things here in London at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI found something for you here Bruce to enjoy your stay inside your home during these snowy days.
ReplyDeleteWhen i was an avid skier I would be delighted, now not so much
