THE FRIDAY FUNNIES

 Surprise!

As Willy Nelson sings, "I woke up still not dead again today!"

You could be forgiven for wondering since I haven't posted since last Sunday.

I guess there's nothing much going on here at the old Bar None Corral.

But there are still a batch of cartoons, most sent in by my Comedy Contributors.

You're all appreciated.

So let's take a look and see what's here.

(I know, I know. It's supposed to say "biting". And the apostrophe's in the wrong place. It's so hard to get good help these days.)

And with that, I shall bring this attempt at levity to a close.

Now y'all have a wonderful weekend and remember: Always. Keep. Laughing!

Here, kitty-kitty . . .

  1. Thank you for the Friday laughs. We loved the pyramid funny, had a very good laugh about that. Yes, aliens! Glad to know all is well there.

  3. It seems that by the time Friday comes around I am needing a laugh and you always come through with a few at least. I love the coyote.

  4. Of course, it took me a minute to find the black lab. Loved it!

  6. Well yeah, Plymouth 8-2288. I mean it's been only a bit more than 60 years.

  7. Yes, it's odd! I can still remember my armed services number, and identity card number [66 years hence], but can't remember my bank login number. Ah well, c'est la [vieille] vie.

  8. My first phone number, back when we had "operators", was 63-J. But I have no memory of our number when we got our first dial telephone.

  9. HA! I love that last one -- the cat drawing. I can indeed remember my childhood phone number, but it was just a number, unlike the more interesting ones above. The pyramid one is funny and, sadly, very true!

  10. My dad has had the same phone number since I was in middle school - which is the only reason I remember it since I call him regularly. Ha!

  11. A great bunch of funnies! I say make your childhood phone number your password. Problem solved. I love that camel.
