HOLIDAY BAKING

 Okay, so we've been baking.

Today I attempted some Thumbprint Cookies.

As I was lining up a shot, Judy snarled, "You didn't TAKE any pictures of my Pinwheel Cookies."

So I did.

They're actually Date Pecan Pinwheel Cookies.

And while neither of the batches would win any awards for beauty, I can tell you that they're all delicious.

This is the one part of The Holidays that I like.

My Mum used to make pinwheel cookies. I haven't had any of them in years. That pic brings back memories. I like the look of your cookies too. ;-)

Deliciousness is the most important thing! Beauty is secondary!

It's a good thing you two don't live close to me because I'd be over there mooching on the daily!

It's my favorite part of the holiday too. I also enjoy some of the music, mostly classical Christmas fare. I would be ALL OVER those pinwheels.
