Arizona has a wide variety of terrain and climate. And where I live, in the Central Highlands, the sun doesn't always shine as it seems to 80 miles away in the desert area.
We had about 20" of snow fall here yesterday in just a few hours so a little rain would be nothing to me right now. Although today it is sunny and there is nothing like walking in the sun when everything is covered in white - it is so bright!
I thought that the sun always shone on Arizona - except at night of course. Interesting rainy day pictures.

DeleteGreat day for plants!
ReplyDeleteI imagine so.
DeleteGreat reason to stay inside. I will soon have my fire back, hopefully. The techs are here right now, installing the new gas fireplace.
ReplyDeleteHope it goes well.

ReplyDeleteThat much snow reminds me why I chose to live in Arizona!
DeleteA very moody sky. We got hammered by snow here.
ReplyDeletePat said Toronto was also hammered.
DeleteRain is good, except when it's too much. That's our mantra.
ReplyDeleteWise mantra.
DeleteCrackling fire, good book, hot chocolate, what more does one need?
ReplyDeleteAnd we just got a few raindrops down south in Phoenix. Glad to hear though you got rain. The state certainly needs all the moisture it can get!

I love the photos. I heard there was some rain down here too but not where I live.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind so much the wetness, but I do stay inside when it's cold and windy. I like your bio description: "retired troublemaker".
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I don't think of Arizona as being gray and rainy. Clearly I am ignorant and with much to learn.
