Well, look at it this morning.
My mother grew deep purple morning glories up a telephone pole!
I have seen those before.

The plant must have liked all the rain you got. I have had little luck with them and didn't try to grow it this year.
Yes, this year's monsoon has been over the top so far.

That is a very pretty one! We only had white ones and they went everywhere and were obnoxious.
