LOL. Christmas began as a pagan holiday. Perhaps the pagans wore red hats and danced around a decorated tree...you don't know!
The tree is very pagan and the hats--who knows? Elves from middle earth?
I used to watch The Flintstones every week when I was a kid and it never once occurred to me that there shouldn't have been a Christmas then.
I hate to disappoint you Bruce but The Flintstones and indeed The Rubbles were cartoon characters. They weren't real people.
I love the Flintstones!
