BLOOMS

By the looks of things around my neighborhood, Spring is truly making an effort to arrive.

A couple of ornamental plum trees.

A little closer . . .

And *really* close.

The ornamental pear trees are also blooming.

I'll try to post some pictures of them tomorrow.

I love ornamental trees and they're blooming here too!

My ornamental plums are shedding leaves getting ready for winter, but when the blossoms appear they are just as pretty, though they make me sneeze. They are also called Christmas Plums (mine, not yours) and grow edible fruits of a smaller size that are quite nice if I manage to get any after the birds have been through.

No blooms here yet, but some grass is starting to pop up.
