ELECTION DAY

To all my friends and readers in the United States of America: today is the day and, as you've been told ad infinitum, every vote counts so . . .

And by the end of the day some of us will be happy campers and some of us will be freaked out.

We all voted and may everyone else vote, too. And I mean everyone.

Done did it last week. Now to see what happens.

Maybe not until the end of the week.

Pollsters are predicting that Arizona will go to the Trumpist Party. I hope they are wrong.

Glad I voted early, with the weather we've had today. At least the flooding went down from yesterday.

I am terrified and feel sick to my stomach. :(

I voted a couple of weeks ago. As I write this it doesn't look good for Harris.

And Vote Blue!

Every vote counts...so why is it so difficult for some to vote? All those queues...and fewer voting stations in places. Good to see people out voting though

Can we get a recount!

Please do a post on the electoral college, and the connection to each persons vote. We all need your insight and experience on this subject. Dee

It takes 270 electoral college votes to be elected president. Each state has the number of electoral college votes equal to the number of Senators (2) plus the number of U.S. representatives in each state. Representatives are allocated according to population. For example, Arizona has 9 representatives, thus they have 11 electoral college votes. Electors to the electoral college are chosen by which presidential candidate wins that state, i.e. has the most votes.
