DAY SEVEN

Oh my gosh, I almost forgot to post today and here I am counting the days until the Comedy Cavalcade can cease.

Well, forgive me, please and may your SUN-day truly be sunny with this small diversion before the humor.

Just to show you one of my latest experiments in the kitchen - - my breakfast/brunch the other day.

Two fried eggs, buttered toast and the epitome of long-ago Bachelor Food: fried Spam!

Go ahead and sneer but  . . . I. Like. Spam.

Whether fried as this is or just straight out of the can in a sandwich.

But now let me put that gagging sound I'm hearing out of my memory and give you what you really came here for.

Ho-Ho-Ho.

When I was in Korea for the Olympics I saw more varieties of Spam than you can imagine. The US GI's left a lasting impression on that country with the meaty delicacy. There's even a version of Korean BBQ Spam specifically for Korea and another one called Goghuyang which is loaded with Korean spices I think.

Spam! Very retro!

I love your breakfast, except the spam. I don't really like ham either. Bacon all the way!

I don't think I've had SPAM since I was a kid...and boy, did I ever hate it. I wonder what I would think of it now.

Been years since I had Spam. Maybe it's time to try it again?
Oh, the list! Painfully funny here.

Fried spam! I haven't had that since the kids left home. Hubby used to have it with fried tomatoes as well as the eggs.

I like spam, too, since childhood!

I am a "Spam" fan too - fried and served with buttered new potatoes and garden peas but I hate the kind of spam that comes in e-mail form.

Spam was a staple in my husband's college meals. Every so often he brings some home from the grocery store. It's all his!

If there is a can of spam in the bags, who cares about the butter and paprika! I like it, the sweet bear thinks it is gross.

Spam looks like ham. Your toast is a little well done! That must be the way you like it?

No but the toaster has a mind of its own.
