THE FRIDAY FUNNIES

I know what you're thinking.

"Apparently he's been hung over all week because of all that green beer he drank on Monday!"

Well you'd be wrong.

I didn't have any green beer on Monday or maybe any other kind of beer.

I may write about St. Patrick's Day but I usually don't celebrate it.

No, I've just been occupied with life and, then, lazy in general.

So let me try to make it up to you today.

TGIF!

If you're like me you're probably about ready to smite Jean-Luc Picard.

But put that anger behind you and get even by having a simply mah-velous weekend.

After all, it's SPRING again!

(sorry, River. and anyone else living Down Under.)

Oh, yeah, and always remember to keep laughing!

Here, kitty-kitty . . .

As a former English teacher, the "alot" meme really hit home. I used the "alittle" and "abunch" examples to show them why. The first one brought back memories, too. As my mom's physical and mental health declined, I made a chart comparing how young people used assistive devices to learn and strengthen skills vs. how aging people use assistive devices to keep those skills.

Love 'em all!!
Just chatted to friends in NZ....they are having the same chilly weather as I am....the difference is, they are in their Autumn. 🙃🙁

I like that last one the best. Made me laugh. My zippity is gone right now too.

You are the best thing about Fridays!

LOL!

Don't we all, though.

You're most welcome, Ellen.

In spite of some of my writing on this blog I tend to be a grammar nerd so I appreciated that one too.

It's warming up here. Yay!

I know what you mean. In the words of a long gone politician from New York, I believe, "Keep the faith, baby!"

Catalyst said...

Aw, shucks. Thank you.

I saw the animal cracker coming. What a hoot! TGIF!

Catalyst said...

TGIF indeed. Never needed it more.

Really great batch this week. While it wouldn't be needed often, the idea of the smoke alarm that responds to "I'm just cooking" would be great! The sword and the pen! HA!!! Carla

Catalyst said...

I set off our smoke alarm at least once using a very hot dutch oven or black iron pan. Filled the kitchen with smoke and learned about using fans and opening windows! Duh.

I'm still laughing, especially at the zippity and smoke detector ones.

Our spring is starting out with lots of rain. Typical for here. Kids and the elderly do have (too?) much in common.

Laughter is a good thing.

Going up to 80 degrees here early next week. Then I can begin to complain about the heat! 😊

I like the first one because I'm getting close to that stage.

Then you'll enjoy tomorrow's post.

Yeah, it's autumn here, temps are beginning to drop below the 30sC.
Great funnies.

Ok, rub a dub dub is the best for me today! Thanks for the smiles, even if I am a day late. Enjoy your Saturday!

Enjoying!

And rising here. What a strange world, eh?

No zippity for me either - and that three men in a tub one is a real head scratcher! How DID it become a nursery rhyme???

I got a kick out of "three men in a tub." That is a very good question. I wonder if they were under an umbrella?
