I know what you're thinking.
"Apparently he's been hung over all week because of all that green beer he drank on Monday!"
Well you'd be wrong.
I didn't have any green beer on Monday or maybe any other kind of beer.
I may write about St. Patrick's Day but I usually don't celebrate it.
No, I've just been occupied with life and, then, lazy in general.
So let me try to make it up to you today.
TGIF!
If you're like me you're probably about ready to smite Jean-Luc Picard.
But put that anger behind you and get even by having a simply mah-velous weekend.
After all, it's SPRING again!
(sorry, River. and anyone else living Down Under.)
Oh, yeah, and always remember to keep laughing!
Here, kitty-kitty . . .
Thanks, we needed these, alot.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
DeleteWe all need some laugh these days. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteDon't we all, though.
DeleteHa Ha Ha! Thanks, Bruce!
ReplyDeleteYou're most welcome, Ellen.
DeleteAs a former English teacher, the "alot" meme really hit home. I used the "alittle" and "abunch" examples to show them why. The first one brought back memories, too. As my mom's physical and mental health declined, I made a chart comparing how young people used assistive devices to learn and strengthen skills vs. how aging people use assistive devices to keep those skills.
ReplyDeleteIn spite of some of my writing on this blog I tend to be a grammar nerd so I appreciated that one too.
DeleteLove 'em all!!
ReplyDeleteJust chatted to friends in NZ....they are having the same chilly weather as I am....the difference is, they are in their Autumn. 🙃🙁
It's warming up here. Yay!
DeleteI like that last one the best. Made me laugh. My zippity is gone right now too.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. In the words of a long gone politician from New York, I believe, "Keep the faith, baby!"
DeleteYou are the best thing about Fridays!
ReplyDeleteAw, shucks. Thank you.
DeleteI saw the animal cracker coming. What a hoot! TGIF!
ReplyDeleteTGIF indeed. Never needed it more.
DeleteReally great batch this week. While it wouldn't be needed often, the idea of the smoke alarm that responds to "I'm just cooking" would be great! The sword and the pen! HA!!! Carla
ReplyDeleteI set off our smoke alarm at least once using a very hot dutch oven or black iron pan. Filled the kitchen with smoke and learned about using fans and opening windows! Duh.
DeleteI'm still laughing, especially at the zippity and smoke detector ones.
ReplyDeleteLaughter is a good thing.
DeleteOur spring is starting out with lots of rain. Typical for here. Kids and the elderly do have (too?) much in common.
ReplyDeleteGoing up to 80 degrees here early next week. Then I can begin to complain about the heat! 😊
DeleteI like the first one because I'm getting close to that stage.
ReplyDeleteThen you'll enjoy tomorrow's post.
DeleteYeah, it's autumn here, temps are beginning to drop below the 30sC.
ReplyDeleteGreat funnies.
And rising here. What a strange world, eh?
DeleteOk, rub a dub dub is the best for me today! Thanks for the smiles, even if I am a day late. Enjoy your Saturday!
ReplyDeleteEnjoying!
