IT'S OKAY

As Novembers barrels into our lives once again, November, the month of overeating, it's a good time to take stock of our daily diets.

Can they even be called diets?

To me, that means cutting back on all the good stuff and turning instead to everything green.

Not that that's a bad thing.

I like greens as much as the next person.

The healthy one.

I just think moderation is the key word.

Moderation and variety.

Eat as much as you feel your tummies can hold of all the food varieties.

It is Thanksgiving month, after all.

So tell all of those people who are going on and on about your overeating to get a cab.

Meanwhile you can enjoy a Cab, as in Cabernet.

And probably a second piece of pumpkin pie.

  2. Funny you should mention food and weight etc. as I have just taken my first shot of Mounjaro. I hope to shed about three stones. My motivation is mostly to reduce my blood pressure and the real risk of becoming diabetic.

  3. As stand-up Sarah Millican says: no matter what I weigh, I can still fit a new purse.

  8. Your diet is what you do eat...not what you don't....focus on the positive!

  9. I wish I could follow that advice! Would really love a few pies but my broken digestive system won't let me πŸ˜ͺ

  11. I love greens but am sometimes too lazy to prepare a salad or veggies. :( My parents, big salad eaters, would be ashamed of me! Moderation in all things is a good rule of thumb. Too much denial can cause crankiness.
