Then we drove in to Prescott for a great meal at the Olive Garden. Enroute to and from the restaurant, SWMBO took some photos through the windshield. Those contrails in a couple of the photos are actually streaks made by my windshield wipers.
But recently, when I went by, I noticed that an accident had occurred. The baby giraffe had toppled to the ground, perhaps blown over by the wind, perhaps just worn out and taking a nap. But it was an unnerving sight, which I share with you now.

It's always kind of interesting in these old western towns when the newer facing is ripped off to see what is revealed underneath. In this case, apparently an old photo shop, probably long forgotten, until now.

The Cardinals quarterback, 38 year old Kurt Warner, put on an amazing display as did his counterpart, the Packers' Aaron Rodgers. There was talk yesterday about Warner retiring after this season but he told everyone to relax after the game and said that decision would wait until the team has finished this year. Warner has another year left on a contract extension he signed last year but a concussion he suffered this year has put the retirement question up for discussion.

Beautifully decorated, as usual. And dinner was superb. Mussels in garlic butter sauce, lobster tails, twice-baked potatoes, asparagus, mini-beef Wellingtons, artisanal bread, Creme Brulee. And lots of good wine.
Some of the houses lend themselves to Christmas card photos when the snow is falling.
As one heads down the hill, it looks slippery (and it was) but to a boy who learned to drive in North Dakota, it was no problem.
