From there it was just one shot after another of this near perfect blue sky day with clouds and even occasional raindrops.
That's a bit of Willow Lake in the lower left of the photo above.
The only way I can imagine would be better than watching these clouds from the ground would be as a bird on high soaring among them.

These are gorgeous clouds.
ReplyDeleteI have so many sky shots stored on my computer that it's ridiculous. They are addictive :)
Yes, they certainly are. The treat today was getting the shot of that hawk...if that's what it was.
ReplyDeleteGreat cloud shots with lots of interesting imaginary shapes as well.
ReplyDeleteYes, I saw many forms in the clouds today.
ReplyDeleteBah -- great big, fluffy, beautiful and TOTALLY USELESS clouds. Where's our summer rain?
ReplyDeletePatience, Julie, patience.
ReplyDeleteReally like that first pic with granite mountain! And nice catch on the bird, those suckers are hard to keep in your sights while clicking away!
ReplyDeleteIt still looked better with the naked eye than through the camera. And yes, I didn't even know if I had the bird until I got home and put the pix through the computer. It came a lot lower and closer but I was fumbling with the camera so it was a lucky shot.
ReplyDeleteLovely clouds! I can see a dog & a dragon, & some other forms too!
ReplyDeleteMeggie, I think your eye is better than mine!
ReplyDeleteThis is not good when I fall this far behind on your blog...I ask for pretty pictures, you take them....then I am a no show. I bad girl.
ReplyDeleteM.I. - Y'know, there are sometimes things more important than reading my blog!
