Winter Wonderland

The snow got a little lower during the night.

This is what I awoke to.

I took the picture through my den window and the glass reflected my lamp a bit.

Meanwhile, in front.

It's early but the dog-walkers and the car drivers have already been out messing with the street snowscape.

I love this view with the early morning sun casting a pinkish, orange-ish glow over the town.

Meantime, the Weather Gods say the temperature will only rise to 36 degrees here today.

In Arizona?

They've got to be kidding!

  1. It hit 70 yesterday in New Jersey. Clearly the new Climate Control agreement is not working.

  3. I'm glad I'm not there. This cold rain is bad enough for me. However, I do think that last picture is gorgeous.
The gallery that has all the sculptures outside is Xanadu Gallery at 7039 E Main St. (west of Scottsdale Rd.). It seems like they have a new sculpture featured every time I pass by there.

  4. What is the world coming to when Minnesota is dry and brown and Arizona is white. Stranger than Donald Trump as a presidential frontrunner.

  5. I like your last picture but only as a picture.

  6. Lovely and cozy to look at--from the distance of the blogosphere! Too much winter for us!

  7. The snow looks so pretty until it gets walked on. Take care and keep warm.

  8. Dang! If that hit in the morning, we might have had our first snow day! Wishful thinking. Temps were in the mid-70s here Sunday. Not normal for Missouri.
