As goofy as this picture is, on a day when the temperature here in Arizona is hovering at 19 degrees F. as I'm writing this . . . it feels good to look back to a time when I was in a t-shirt and shorts at an outside restaurant table in Puerto Vallarta.
And that bearded gent in the blue shirt in the background?
That's Baseball Steve, come down to pay me a visit.
Viva Mexico!
I wish I looked as dapper in a hat as you do in this picture.
ReplyDeleteYou are way too kind.
DeleteNice.
ReplyDeleteYou are way too kind.
DeleteLooking skinny.
ReplyDeleteSteve
You are way too kind.
DeleteYou look as though you were feeling no pain! 19 degrees?! In Arizona? That's painful to even think about!
ReplyDeleteAnd our furnace quit working this morning. Still waiting for a repair man.
DeleteYou do look happily casual...and thin. I wish I could get my old shape back. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteStay warm. :)
You are way too kind. (Remember, that picture is about 30 years old!)
DeleteWe had icy cold winds off the ocean yesterday, I thought I was back home in GF. Low 30's tonight in Cali. Snow in the mountains and temps in the teens in the high desert. The surfing movies were all lies.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Keep a fire in the fireplace, Jager.
DeleteYou do look a bit thin in that pic, B. I got down to 170 around '81, running 50 miles a week, and time to do that.
ReplyDeleteHave you warmed up down there? Today we got another inch or so, but warmed up to 29.
I got down to 150 or so when we first went to Mexico but got back up to 175 and stayed there until we came home to the United States and fast food. Now I'm holding at around 220, dang it. Oh, and it got up to 37 today I think but our furnace was blowing cold air this morning and the house was chilly until the repairman arrived at 4 p.m. Toasty now.
