Up until last night, the last time the Chicago Cubs won the World Series.

you know what I think of baseball in general. Sooooooo slowwwwww. But as a native of the north side of Chicago, last night was a magic one in our house. And it just may have been the best or certainly one of the top 3 best World Series 7th games of all time. tim
It was a great series. And in the grand arc of cosmic justice and poetry there is a new goat, though it has nothing to do with the Cubs. But since that old "curse" has been broken we need a new goat. James Comey!
I'm glad that the Cubs fans have something to celebrate finally. They've been at the butt end of so many jokes over the years.
As for the election, welcome to Germany, circa 1932. God, or some such deity, help us. If Hairball is elected, I'm going to think seriously of moving. Mexico or Canada.

Interesting to think there aren't any people alive who were around the last time the Cubs won a world series, but that changed last night.
