Dateline: September 2018 - Athens, Greece Parthenon being refurbished. Arizona Realtor Beau Jack, accompanied by the BRD, checking out investment opportunity.
Hey there. If they are going to buy it and run a rental by owner for those who would like to visit there, I will be glad to send a deposit for the first booking....say in 2020. Cool?
Watch your "P"s and "Q"s when signing the documents. I really mean "N"s. Make sure you don't buy the "pantheon" instead of the "parthenon" by mistake. That swindle is as old as the Brooklyn Bridge.
To anon above, if you travel around southern and central thing, you will find the same thing. The ruins in Rome are in constant flux, as they slowly and carefully try to put together the ruins as they uncover...one notices first thing the 'ruins' are below ground level-in a pit, so to speak.
Bruce, with the Greek economy and banks in the toilet, he could get some bargain prices......
I'd love to see that place someday.
