A decent man, through and through.
Oh, no... that's the first I'm hearing of it.
I saw that news last night, about 30 minutes after it happened. Don't know why I was surprised.
Humility, humor and public service were his hallmarks. He had the best resume of any modern US President.People forget how impressive was his legislative record as a President AND he did it with a Democratic majority in the House and Senate.
It seems that he was a nice man.
Another of our Presidents who went to war without the proper authorization. Liked Barbara a lot, tho! RIP, for sure.

You know, at the time of his presidency, I was not a fan. But he WAS a decent and respectable guy and a well-intentioned leader.
