I never think much about St. Patrick's Day although I am a bit Irish. (one of my grandmothers was a Flanagan) Prior to Covid, I sometimes went out on the holiday, but it was a bit too wild most places for someone of my age. :)
I could tell you of one St. Patrick's Day in Indianapolis when I spent the whole afternoon in a very Irish bar, interviewing drinkers, singing and recording Irish songs, and that night getting very drunk. But I won't! 😎
Good one! Enjoy your Guinness!
ReplyDeleteI shall, though it may be a Deschutes Black Butte Porter.
DeleteSt. Paddy's day marks 14 days since getting my second vaccine. Freedom day, a day to celebrate, a day for Thai lunch wearing green.
ReplyDeleteDo they have Thai Corned Beef and Cabbage, Phil?
DeleteI love it! I am an O' person so it really made my day - will send it on to some cousins!
ReplyDeletePat, I can't tell you how long it took me to get it. Actually, I didn't. SWMBO explained it to me!
Delete(:O~)

DeleteAre you planning a big celebration?
ReplyDeleteNot yet. The 21st is my two-week celebration!
