until I met you I never knew AZ had snow and cold weather. I thought all of it was HOT all the time.. you know like the desert movies we see all the time... i am getting an education.
Sandra, the state has mountains that rise as high as 13,000 feet around Flagstaff. I'm at just about 5,000 feet, nearly the same as Denver. I'd recommend a subscription to Arizona Highways. 😊
I'm looking out the window this morning and there are still some lingering clouds hanging around the sky. In fact, it looks like it could rain but it probably won't.
Those are mostly unfriendly clouds here and would bring a definite gully washer.
ReplyDeleteNo rain and it cleared off by late afternoon.
DeleteVery moody skies.

DeleteWe woke up to about 8" of snow this morning, but a lot of it has melted already.

DeletePS Those clouds are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAt least you're getting some precipitation -- I guess that's a good thing!

DeleteThat's what it looks like here most of the time. It does surprise me that it looks like that there in sunny Arizona.
ReplyDeleteOnce when we were living in Phoenix many years ago, we had two rainy days in a row. I jokingly complained to Judy "Doesn't the sun ever shine here?"
DeleteWe've got the grey now, I expect we'll get what's left of your rain later today.
