Le Penseur.
I was expecting Rodin but this is a good one.
And what is that in front of him?
It's a miniature sculpture of a couple of books topped with a sleeping cat.
Is it Franklin D. Roosevelt? He said, "Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort but not in The Friday Funnies!"
Close, but no cigar. It's Franklin B. Taylor, your faithful scribe. The sculpure was done many decades ago by a good friend of mine and finally (unfortunately?) I'm beginning to resemble it.
The thinking man has a determined set to his jaw, as if he is about to kick ass and take names.
