Judy's supply ran out this morning so I hied myself to the kitchen and put together a couple of loaves.
If I must say so myself, they turned out pretty good.
I rarely have a slice but Judy loves it so I shall continue making them for her.
Now, let's see . . . what's next?

Those look perfect! Have you ever made stollen?
Nope.
When I lived in Germany, stollen was a christmas favorite. They would buy a loaf, and every couple days until it was gone drizzle it with schnapps.
Impressive!
I looked it up and saw it as a Christmas bread. The schnapps might make it worthwhile!
10-Q.
They look good!
Thank you.
I rarely eat bread, being more of a muffin/bagel type person. But it does look good and you are an A+ husband to make it for Judy.
Have you printed the recipe here before this? I'd like to give it a try, it looks so good.
Now that is quite the sweetest story that I've heard today. You aren't a fan of the bread, but you make it for your wife. You are a good egg.
Those loaves look very yummy.
Well done!
You are handy to have around the house. The bread looks fabulous.
River, here (https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/english-muffin-bread-loaf/) is a recipe that's similar though I make mine with 3 cups of all-purpose flour and two cups of whole wheat flour. Good luck!
Thank you.
