It's 44 and windy this morning up in the canyon. We had a fire in the stove last night and Cakes turned on the furnace when we went to bed. Too cold for morning coffee on the porch.
A bit concerned about the crack in the wall, until I went back to the top and saw it was a boundary(?) wall, not a house wall. Still enjoying damp and windy weather in France. Winter seems to be a long way off.
Nice photos, but not a pleasant reality. Nope, snow is not a favorite around this house. Only in the 50's here on the Central Coast, but bright sun and clear blue skies. Had almost a half an inch of rain yesterday!

46 years ago I left my navy pea coat with some babe in Bismarck when I moved to Indianapolis. I still regret it.
You got it before us, thanks.
I like the photo with the leaves still trying to hang on surrounded by snow.
Oh my goodness already?! Looks pretty with the red maple.

No snow here - yay! Although it was 30 degrees this morning. I am so not ready for winter!

That is SO not fair! You don't even care about missing school for a snow day. And we're getting three inches of rain.
Oh no! I like the kind of wink on the last picture.
I haven't talked to my sister Judy since last Thursday so I didn't know you had snow up there. It looks very nice, especially from here.
