Thank you so much! They are just beautiful! What a lovely surprise I found. I am not sure about Hibiscus. I find them very fascinating, & am so intrigued with the stamen. They can be so fleeting. Our neighbour has a very pretty red one, which is flowering at present- a nice bright patch in our winter greys!
Yes, the hibiscus are short lived, here in dry Arizona especially. What blooms one day shrivels and dies by the next morning. I have plucked one today though and have it in a wine glass of water on my desk and I find it very cheery.
