HALLOWEEN 2012

It's that time of year again.  Time for the spooks to come out.  Mt. Vernon Street in Prescott awaits with frightening decorations for the annual influx of thousands of trick-or-treaters.

Down on Whiskey Row, the Jersey Lilly has a new doorman.

And the bartender looked somewhat horrible.

Downstairs at the Palace, the BRD and her Beau Jack (background) celebrated Halloween with their annual private party Saturday night.

Here are some of their guests.

Over at the Firehouse Kitchen there were more revelers, looking a bit fuzzy.  (Ghosts?  Or cocktails?)

Back on the street a man was wearing an appropriate for Halloween shirt.

He said his mother gave it to him!

Speaking of shirts, a local cab driver was wearing one advertising free rides home tonight for those revelers who didn't bring along a designated driver.  Good idea.

Nearby, an English bulldog was taking it all in with just a touch of green-eyed envy.

And today, we'll let him be the subject of the gratuitous critter picture.

Happy Halloween, everybody.  Stay safe.

  1. Looks like a lot of fun! Was that one guy supposed to be Mark Grace, or Daron Sutton? Because he REALLY looks like DON Sutton :)

  2. Fun to see. Don't you think the doorman looked a bit like Keith Richards?

  3. We had 17 tricksters stop by tonight. Still have stuff left over. The best ones were the last two. I Quote, "Trick or treat, smell our feet, give us something good to eat". That was funny. The German kids say Suss or Sour(Sweet or Sour.) Nice photos.

  4. Bug - He does look a bit like the senior Sutton but the name on his shirt and on his cap says "Seldom Sober".

Tom - Funny, I was just watching a video last night featuring Keith Richards. And, no, I don't think there's a resemblance.

Steve - Don't eat all those leftovers at once.

  7. To the few who rang the bell and who had of course no idea of what Halloween is...I took the time to explain what Halloween was about in English and then in French ... they were very disappointed because being not prepared (of course) I gave them clementines! now I'll get my own treat by looking at your post.
