I want to go to Annapurna
to watch the Annapurnans dance.
Perchance,
they’d let me dance
with them.
Or maybe they’d just say
“Ahem,
We really do believe
that you had better leave.”
(For some reason, this poem(?) created itself in my head last night. I'd explain it. But I can't.)
Annapurna is of course a dangerous mountain. Annapuma however is quite something else. Have you been dabbling in anime? After Googling Annapuma you may wish to consult a doctor for your condition. Or not!
ReplyDeleteSometimes these poems just have to come out...I think you should set this one to music...
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tess. Although maybe you shouldn't dance to it since you're apparently feeling self-conscious about your dancing :)
ReplyDeleteTC - No anime. This came out of the blue while I was watching the news.
ReplyDeleteTK - Actually I think it kind of came with its own music but I've since lost it.
TB - I no longer dance but when I did . . I danced like no one was looking!
I'm closing my eyes and imagining you dancing.
ReplyDeleteSH - Be careful. As you can see, imagination is a dangerous thing.
ReplyDeletebut are you going to Katmandu??
ReplyDeleteCC - I won't go there but I may sing it!
ReplyDeleteI think you're eating waaaay too much spicy food right before you go to bed. ;)
ReplyDeleteS
LS - Spicy? Jalapeno's and Habanero's? Spicy?
