. . . pineapple, lemon, corn on the cob, onion, peppers, zucchini, ready for the grill . . .
. . . joining some chicken breasts . . .
. . . and the heat is on . . .
. . . nearly done now as my stomach growls can be heard through the neighborhood.
It was delicious. And, by the way, if you've never tried grilled pineapple you've missed one of the true culinary pleasures of life.
Bon appétit!
looks yummy. we've heard grilled peaches are wonderful as well. ever tried them?
ReplyDeleteI have heard that as well but since I don't like peaches the taste will probably never cross my lips.
DeleteI've tried the corn still in the husk (soaked in water) and it was very good, but not so good that I won't just use the pot; the timing messes me up with grilling protein, and I am all about grilling protein. I'm gonna try the pineapple though.
ReplyDeleteI think you'll like it. It's sweet enough to turn you into The Sweet Old Man!
DeleteThat looks so good!
ReplyDeleteIt was. She's turning the leftovers into a chicken salad dinner for tonight. I can't wait.
DeleteI've been a big fan of grilled pineapple ever since I tried it a a local Brazil Grill. Yummy.
ReplyDeleteGood man!
DeleteI did shish-kabobs once with large shrimp interspersed with pineapple chunks,....marinated them first, then did the grill....yeah, pineapple is great.
ReplyDeleteI'll eat at your grill anytime!
DeleteOur grill died and I miss it. Might have to buy another.
ReplyDeleteCould I turn into a sweet old woman if I try to grill the pineapple?
ReplyDeleteMore likely a Sweet Young Thing!
DeleteOh that looks fabulous! YUM! And I want to try the chicken salad too :)
