They were on of those "fun runs". They probably had started out in Phoenix and they were on their way to Flagstaff next.
One guy kept saying to me "Hop in, hop in!"
I said "I'd love to but how would I get back?"
He replied "That's your problem!"
Awesome! I need a car show here. You can't have a bad day at a car show. :)
ReplyDeleteOhh baby, I love those vintage sports cars. Next time get a picture of the MGA. Lowandslow knows that was my favorite. Actually the Austin Healy 3000 was my favorite, but I could only afford a used MGA. I think I see the rear of both behind the MGB.
ReplyDeleteI talked to a couple who had an MGA. I thought I photographed it but maybe not. I had an MGB for a few months in 1971. Loved it. Wish I'd kept it.
DeleteThese cars look so much more artistic and interesting than today's cars.
ReplyDeleteYes.
DeleteA buddy of mine, the 'cook down the street' had a TR6 in the later 70's in Alaska. He once borrowed my land cruiser for a weekend, and left me his TR.....worst car on snow I've ever driven, by far. But nice in good weather.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in college, a friend bought a TR Sprite. Cute little thing but . . .
DeleteI like the speedster with the walker. Not a care in the world.
