SWMBO gets the night off as I "fix dinner".
Warning to the purists: I do not make my own dough.
I buy a DiGiorno's thin crust pepperoni pizza and doctor it at home.
Last night's version featured extra pepperoni, globs of mozzarella, mixed sweet peppers and some grape tomatoes.
Topped off with freshly grated Parmesan fresh out of the oven.
Catalyst's "doctored DiGiornio's".
So it isn't P.C. (Puristically Correct)
It's still darned good.
And I've got leftovers for today!
I can't remember the last time we had pizza! Decades, maybe. Still looks good though!

That's great. Pizza out of a box but fancied up with more of your faves.

Except for the pepperoni, that sounds delicious! We have a mixed marriage: my husband and older son love pepperoni, the younger son and I don't. So we have to order half-and-half. I DO like the DiGiorno crust. I'm always moving ingredients from one side to another. Pepperoni to the left, peppers to the right.
ReplyDeleteSausage and mushroom is my combo, cooked in a good old NJ o NY Pizzeria by a guy named Mario...the best.
ReplyDeleteHomemade dough or not, it looks darn good.
ReplyDeleteI suddenly have an urge for pizza!
ReplyDeleteOh wow - that looks great!
