ST. PATRICK'S DAY

Gentle Readers, it's that day when everyone is Irish, even if you're not.

So have a drink at the Temple Bar in Dublin.

And a special thanks to my long-time blogger friend Steve G. in Germany for sending me that link.

That's cool. 12:43 a.m. there, and 30 degrees. I feel happy, yet kind of staggery. I hope someone carries me, like I saw other staggery people get carried three times during my visit.

Thanks for the link! It looks like they're getting snow too -- just like us. I totally forgot that it was St. Patrick's Day yesterday!

It's difficult to forget it St. Pat's day where I live. My youngest describes the day in Butte MT as "A low-rent Mardi Gras, only cold and snowing." It's pretty accurate, drunks everywhere from 10am onwards, gunfire at midnight, etc. It's one of the many oddities of Butte, like Evel Kenievel Days, who is Butte's main claim to fame, and most people think was a complete jerk.
snowing this morning, another 2", enough to cover the beer cans on the streets.
