Flags were flying straight out most of the time yesterday.
When I rose from the Arms of Morpheus shortly after 6 o'clock this morning the temperature was 32 degrees (F.)
Later as I was changing the water in the birdbath I had to chip off a light layer of ice.
Just in time for Halloween.
Maybe this will cut down on the trick or treaters and I'll have a lot of candy left over. (heh-heh)
You are having colder weather than us! Not what I expect in Arizona!
ReplyDeleteFor years I have hiden in the dark on Halloween night. Retribution from the Gods, and not trick or treaters, has come early his year as I found out my Arizona Cardinals are playing a rare Thursday Night Football game this Thursday. I don't think the crime fits the punishment.
ReplyDeleteHere we have a hot Santa Ana wind blowing, no ice here. Retribution comes to all who wait.
ReplyDeleteWe live in retirement community, no kids to knock on our doors. Good or bad?
It's going to cool down a bit on the central coast for Halloween. The Santa Ana wind has abated for a while but is expected to return, the though the cool down is welcome.
ReplyDeleteWow,Bruce. How are you surviving? It's supposed to get to a balmy minus 7 in Butte tonight.
ReplyDeleteBut cold is a good thing!
ReplyDeleteAs long as the trick-or-treaters weren't planning to drink out of the bird bath, I don't think a little cold will deter them. Kids would be rolling snowballs in shirtsleeves and flip-flops if you'd let them.
ReplyDeleteIt's supposed to get down to 24 here tonight, but clearly we can't compete with Montana! :D
ReplyDeleteThat's literally freezing cold weather. We had temps like that here yesterday. Really a bummer because of the power outage as well.
