POT PLANTS

Our pot plants are hanging in there nicely, possibly due to the continued warm weather.

(They're not what you may have been expecting. I call them that because we grow them in pots.)

The tallest plant here is a Serrano pepper plant.

Next to it is a Shishito pepper plant.

Down in front is a Coleus plant that started from a cutting and was about to be given up for dead until SWMBO brought it outside and snuggled it in with the pepper plants.

Since then it has thrived.

In the lower left you can see a Basil plant and way down to the right you can catch a glimpse of a Mint plant.

There's also a peek down in front of our struggling Chives, about done for the season.

Meanwhile the tomato plant keeps surprising us with a plethora of various sized fruit though it's beginning to look like we may have to have some Fried Green Tomatoes.

The rain gauge sharing the pot regrettably is as dry and unused as that barbecue grill in the background.

Pot gardening - it's been profitable this year and kind of fun.

  1. I did expect to see pot plants here. So, I'm guessing you must be growing them somewhere else. LOL!
Nice peppers and tomato plants there. We're cleaning things up here and cutting back almost all the veggie plants. We have two tomatoes left that might ripen into something delicious.
    Soon... winter.

  2. The advantage of pot gardening is that you can move things easier to a better spot, or re arrange them as you fancy.
Your herbs have done far better than ours...and the peppers and toms... you have plenty of sun, we have had a cooler damper summer

  3. They all look good but wow, that tomato plant is gorgeous. I'd go for some friend green tomatoes right now.
