TIME Magazine chose Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as it's People of the Year.
I saw one comment that said the honor should have gone to health care workers.
To remedy that miscarriage of justice, here is just one of them, my nephew Tim who, along with his wife, is a nurse in Washington State.
And, also in the spirit of the season, here is a short video of something I'm sure Tim would never do.
Tim (and other health care workers) are my heroes. I wonder if someone's head is blowing off because of the naming of Biden/Harris. *smirks*
ReplyDeleteI tell our daughter Katherine, a nurse, she is in indeed a hero.
ReplyDeleteSame for Tim and his wife and all of their colleagues. BTW, with his beard and that smirk smile he looks a lot like his crazy uncle Bruce.
Judy said that too.
ReplyDeleteYes, the health care workers are definitely heroes. Tireless, hard-working, amazing heroes.
ReplyDeleteVery funny video. Thank you for the laugh.
A shout out to Tim and his wife! Heroes for sure.
ReplyDeleteThe little video made me laugh out loud.
It's hard work.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought about it but I think you are correct, our health care workers do not get the love they deserve. I saw a ER Dr got fired for tweeting the facts of his hospital. The lack of PPP, beds in the ICU and his anger at people not listening to science. The hospital fired him quickly but the public thanked him. While nice that does not pay for that roof over his family's head.
