SOUTHERN SNOW

In spite of that header picture above, we have had no snow in my part of Arizona.

But the same can't be said for much of the southeastern United States.

From Texas to Florida, residents woke to find snow covering the ground.

In Arkansas, where the normal yearly snowfall is 3 to 4 inches there were reports of 10 inches from yesterday's blizzard.

Here's an Associated Press photo from Nashville, Tennessee.

Children are loving it, drivers are cursing it.

But there's hope  . . . .

In the meantime, just keep shoveling! 😄

I can't imagine. It's bad enough here when we get that much snow! We do have snowplows and sanding/deicing equipment though.

It's okay you saying - Just keep shovelling! - when you haven't even got any effing snow!

That was my advice to those who DO have snow, based on my many years of experience behind the shovel.

We've been lucky here so far. Andy can still drive up to the land. It is cold!

Well, spring may be just around the corner in Arizona, but in good old North Dakota and Saskatchewan we have to wait a while.

Snow does look lovely, all sparkly white, but I'm glad I never see any here in my part of Australia.

The photos of 8 inches of snow in Florida, made me laugh so hard. Something about having lived there for 20 years.
