He says he just wants to be friends, though the notch in one ear and other various battle scars would seem to belie that. But Jazz isn't having any, anyway. Yesterday, Blackie came up on the back steps near a screen door and when Jazz saw him she went berserk, clawing at the screen and screaming. (Just like a woman.) Blackie calmly walked away and I saw him a bit later outside, looking forlorn and confused.
But he has access to the garage and the other cats don't so he has a "shelter from the storm."
oh, how true it is that shelter is a needful thing! poor blackie, he's still got his eye on that rug by the hearth...the place where never ending kitty snacks are served to you on silver platters! too bad jazz beat you to it, feller :)
ReplyDeleteCouldn't the notch in the ear mean he has been spayed? That is what I understand the telling sign is in feral cats. Just an observation.
ReplyDeletethoughtful!
ReplyDeleteQD - He definitely hasn't been spayed.
ReplyDeleteDylan. 'Come in' she said, 'I'll give you, shelter from the storm'
ReplyDeleteI am supposing SWMBO has already swiped your ear for the 'just like a woman'.
Poor Blackie Detroit. he looks so battle weary!
I must say, I am getting endless pleasure from our new Morty!
