Meantime, SWMBO fired up the grill yesterday evening and threw on an abundance of veggies.
You can't beat fire-grilled veggies.
Once the grilling was done, the vegetables joined a couple of slabs of oven roasted beef brisket and dinner was served.
Yes it was hot outside but it was worth it. I kept the cook and myself supplied with drinks and cleaned up afterward, like a good boy.
I can hardly wait for leftovers tonight!
My mouth is watering! I feel a challenge coming on. ;)

It was 76 in SoCal, we did Tilapia and "wibs". I have about a 1/4 slab in the fridge at work for lunch today.
ReplyDeleteWhen you lived in Indy did you ever have food from Mama's and Pappa's. BBQ shack? Home of Mambo Sauce....Eddie's daugher Joan took me over there, my oh my!
No. I don't think I ever had the pleasure but I can taste it already!
ReplyDeleteMost people find it hard to believe but I love vegetables. You've reminded me that we don't grill them often enough.
ReplyDeleteVeggies look fab. Very important to keep the cook hydrated with fluids and cleaning up after is my job also when my better half grills... Good job to both!
ReplyDeleteI feel like... ready to sit down...
ReplyDeleteLooking good.
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious. We also did corn on the grill, though I kept the ears in the husks, soaked them for a while, then onto the grill where they "roasted."
ReplyDeleteAh, summertime.
BTW-are you a good bartender?
Happy half year too! :). I am sure i heard my stomach growled after seeing that plate. lol
