We have the house decorated for Christmas.
Well.
The front door, anyway.
The BRD presented the wreath to us when she came over for Thanksgiving.
Fortunately there was a nail in the front door.
So.
Decorating.
Done.
How's that for the old holiday spirit?
One & done is my motto. Good work Bruce!
ReplyDeleteWe have two light posts in front of our house and I changed the bulbs to red and green. That's all I've done on the outside.
ReplyDeleteFestive greens in winter are always pleasant.
ReplyDeleteThe Cakes goes crazy at Christmas, it's like living in a Macy's window.
ReplyDeleteNo point in gilding the lily.
ReplyDelete'tis enough, 'twill serve.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very nice wreath.
ReplyDeleteMy husband has done less but it looks like more. He has left the Christmas lights clipped to the soffits for about 17 years now. We don't even have to bend over to plug them in. They are wired to a light switch in the garage. Flip them on when you come home...flip them off when you go to work.
ReplyDeleteThis, and a aerosol can of 'fir scent' for the inside, and we're done.
ReplyDeleteLooking good.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice reminder when passing the front door!
