So here are some photos of this morning's visitor at the bird bath, a very nervous Scrub Jay.
I said he was nervous.
In between each of these four pictures, he was up in the tree over his swimming pool.

No pool for us, but we enjoyed a game of bocce on the meadow near one of our favorite wineries.
That bird seems to be having a much better weekend than me.

That bird bath is more than worth whatever you paid for it, in entertainment alone.
