I had to look twice, but I DID see them, thanks to their black eyes. My former students were quite disappointed when they found out that a red panda is nothing like these regular pandas. They declared the name to be misleading.
That zoo is so spectacular, or at least it was the last time I visited about a decade or so ago. Love your colourful autumn banner! I responded to your comment about Schultz's birthplace on my blog by the following: You are correct, but he grew up in St Paul going to both elementary and high school here. If I recall correctly, his father owned and operated a barber shop not far from where I live and the family lived above it. He used to play in Mattock's Park, quite close to where I live and which I featured last month in one of my blogs. We claim him!!
