IT'S THERE, IN BLACK AND WHITE

One sunny day, at the San Diego Zoo.

Did you see them?

Look closer.

  1. I didn't see them in the first pic! They are so cute!

  2. The logs look beautiful. I wonder who left those stuffed toys there.

  3. Did not see them until the closeup. They are very cute, but I've heard that they are not really as cuddly as they look.

  4. I had to look twice, but I DID see them, thanks to their black eyes. My former students were quite disappointed when they found out that a red panda is nothing like these regular pandas. They declared the name to be misleading.

  5. That zoo is so spectacular, or at least it was the last time I visited about a decade or so ago. Love your colourful autumn banner! I responded to your comment about Schultz's birthplace on my blog by the following: You are correct, but he grew up in St Paul going to both elementary and high school here. If I recall correctly, his father owned and operated a barber shop not far from where I live and the family lived above it. He used to play in Mattock's Park, quite close to where I live and which I featured last month in one of my blogs. We claim him!!
