That sounds like a wonderful visit. Mostly now I don't spend much time remembering the past. In spite of our visits to the doctors and dentists that seem to be hitting us this month, this is one of the happiest times of my life. Probably because there are no guarantees how long it will last.
My husband loves the good old days. Me...not so much. I love new things. New technology. New possibilities. 70 years old and in a very good place. I have learned to just not do something if I don’t want to. Just say no and not feel like I owe an explanation. I am mostly able to not worry about things I can’t control......but, there is that one grandson. I’m working on that. No, I don’t have any good old days that were better than today.
They were yesterday, the day before and hopefully tomorrow will be a future good old day.
