Not sure about Easter but we did have a heckuva snowstorm the night before we opened our bookstore in mid-March of 1996. Judy wanted to put if off for a day or two but I said we had said we'd be open on X-day so I opened it up. Think we took in about 30 dollars the first day!
Ah yes, though a friend in Bismarck says they've had next to no snow this year. And about the same from a cousin in Billings, Montana this morning. Strange times, Red.
Old Man Winter needs to be chased away with a bouquet of spring daffodils perhaps. The weather should change now that Easter is over. We had our hottest Easter Sunday since 1951 and boy did we swelter. But it is Monday now and the weather is a lovely 23C. It always changes right after Easter.
A sorry day for an Easter egg hunt!
ReplyDeleteYup.
DeleteThe Horror!
ReplyDeleteLOL!
DeleteBrrr! We had church outside this morning at 8:00 and I was complaining because it was 51 degrees. I guess I should shut up :)
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't have liked our mid-50's weather here then. Wind makes a difference.
DeleteThat surprised me!
ReplyDeleteWe were warned so it was no surprise. But it's all gone now.
DeleteWhat the Halibut? That's crazy. Have you ever had snow on Easter before?

DeleteAs we say in our family, Brrrr, chilly.
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteJust like North Dakota!

DeleteAndy thinks the season has shifted, that the weather here is more like the end of February. It's supposed to snow again tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteWhat are all those rocks strewn about in the snow?
ReplyDeleteI think there would be a for sale sign going up the next day.
ReplyDeleteUgh!
ReplyDeleteACK! We are also supposed to get some later in the week.
