I think many of us have that same thought.

I agree about the news, and I think it's dangerous. The people who perpetuate the things we find disturbing would love it if we didn't know about them. Ostrich's bury their heads in the sand, not sure it works well for humans.
I wonder what will be tomorrow's season.
Lovely tree and the news thing, yes. I do agree with Should Fish More though. It's part of why I have Fox News on my phone's news app. (ugh)
That quote describes my situation perfectly.
I listen to the news rather than watch it, I read my book at the same time and if my ear catches anything worth looking at, I'll watch, but mostly the TV is on so I don't miss the weather forecast.
Yeah to that Meme... I am at saturation point with how Bad the News always is now. I try to keep adequately informed while retaining a semblance of Sanity.
The sun is out here today too! Andy will try to go up to the land again tomorrow to see how things are going there.
The rotten news seems to go on and on because enough people swallow it.
