Here in my part of Arizona, the Central Highlands at around 5,000 feet elevation, our summers are hot but not this hot.
100 degree days have become commonplace for about a week.
Being retired, we stay inside our air-conditioned home most of the time.
And it's supposed to drop into the 90's in a few days.
But in the meantime, this meme has real meaning to me.
Let's hope your air conditioning does not break down. Mind you, Americans tend to have massive fridges so you could take everything out and climb inside in your swimsuits... or even naked if you prefer.
ReplyDeleteI love it!

Just think though that millennia ago buildings were designed to keep cool....and we still build boxes....
ReplyDeleteYes, that goes for Washington as well!
ReplyDeletePossibly overdone!
ReplyDeleteIt has been in the high 90's here in the Washington DC area most of the last week.
ReplyDelete100 degree heat. I don't even know how you can stand it.
ReplyDeleteHardly any humidity.
DeleteAround here, I think the mailmen are overdone. High humidity, and temps in upper 90s.
ReplyDeleteBurnt to a crisp here in WV. Not 100, but we are creeping up on it, and in some areas it has been over 100. Miserable.
ReplyDeleteHot days here too.
